Our Custodianship
A considered alternative to conventional short term letting
Designed for Absence
When a home sits empty, we understand that it doesn't simply stop existing.
In these moments of darkness our purpose is to return warmth as an alternative to dormancy.
Our custodianship isn't designed with occupancy maximisation in mind. Our service is convenience. Relief for owners of architecturally considered homes. For those who feel uncomfortable with a home that would otherwise sit empty and without gentle oversight.
Mango Homes introduces light occupation, limited editorial style stays, in these moments and only when appropriate. Between them, the home is overseen quietly - Inspected, maintained, prepared and protected.

How It Feels For The Owner
It feels measured. You remain in complete control of your calendar, each stay is approved individually and you decide the rhythm at which your home is gently occupied. There is no pressure to increase activity, meaning our involvement is present but can be retracted without friction. Our aim is to achieve comfort at every stage - never the other way around.

Mango Notes
How It Feels For The Home
The home continues to feel like itself. Between stays it is aired, checked and gently overseen so that furnishings, systems and atmosphere remain alive rather than dormant. As always, stays are introduced infrequently and respectfully, and each departure is followed by a meticulous reset - linens refreshed, surfaces restored, every detail returned to its original position. The rhythm does not change. It always feels like your home.

A Note From Our Founder
"If I had to describe what Mango is in its simplest form, I would say that we're curators of artistic monuments. We carry a purpose to preserve singular architectural exhibits. Not at all dissimilar to a curator at the Tate"
Our Guest Selection
Guests who stay within a Mango home are not searching for accommodation in the conventional sense. They are people who understand architecture, appreciate considered space and recognise the particular responsibility of staying in someone else's home.
Every guest is introduced manually. There is no open listing, no instant booking and no anonymous arrival. Before any stay is confirmed we take time to understand who the guest is, why this home is right for them and whether their presence aligns with the owner's wishes. References, context and intention all form part of that conversation.
A Mango guest leaves no trace beyond a quiet appreciation for what they were trusted with. The home should feel no different for them having been there.

An owner note
"We care about how our home feels. That mattered more than the financial benefit for us. What we found here was someone who understood that the atmosphere shouldn't change. It's still ours. It just doesn't sit empty."
A Conversation
If this feels like a conversation worth having, whether you've received a letter from us or simply found your way here, we'd be glad to hear from you. Informally, and without obligation.
